The Painted Lady Butterfly-Vanessa Cardui
1000's of these little butterflies pass through our area right around the end of March
each year
from the deserts of Southern Calif. & Mexico.
They are flying by every few minutes and stop for nothing. They travel about 100 miles a day.
We are planting the native plants to help feed them along their way.
